Beit Hatzayar

About Beit Hatzayar: Beit Hatzayar is a therapeutic-educational center that aims to help students with behavioral and mental difficulties or lack of motivation that makes it hard for them to study or go to school, by engaging them in multiple activities such as gardening, carpentry, ceramics, and more.
How you can help: Volunteers and the high school students take care of the plant nursery. Tasks can include planting, watering, etc.
Commitment: One time or longer.

ALYN Hospital

About ALYN Hospital: ALYN Woldenberg Family Hospital is Israel's only pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation facility. ALYN treats children with a wide range of congenital and acquired conditions including cerebral palsy, neuromuscular diseases, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, burns, terror and motor vehicle accident victims.
How you can help: Volunteers help out by reading stories to children who are respirator dependent, assist in sport classes for children and adolescents with special needs, assist the staff in the Infant Day Center, and much more!
Commitment: Ranges between a minimum of 1 to 3 months. 

Ganei Ora

About Ganei Ora: Ganei Ora is a religious nursing home that provides each resident with professional and personal care, warmth, and love.
How you can help: Volunteers are welcome to spend quality time with the elderly residents, play board games with them, or engage in fun activities such as bingo, music, arts and crafts, and more!
Commitment: One time or longer.


About Tachlit: Tachlit is a volunteering organization that helps needy families, orphans and widows in Jerusalem. They support over 1,800 families in need, and distribute over 3,000 food baskets each month. On Jewish holidays they arrange special meals for those in need, and help over 12,600 children.
How you can help: Volunteers are an integral part of Tachlit’s activities. They help sort and pack food packages that will then be distributed to hundreds of families in need.
Commitment: One time or longer.



About Etgarim: Etgarim aims to create equal rights and quality of life for children and adults with special needs, and strengthen their self confidence by challenge sports. They promote outdoor activities and educational programmes, with special emphasis on socializing within the group.
How you can help: Volunteers accompany a child or adult with special needs such as visual impairment, cerebral palsy, or mental health issues in a bike riding class, and helps them learn by running or riding by their side.
Commitment: A minimum of 3 months or more.
