Good Deeds Day in Israel is coming up on March 15, 2016. We’ll be celebrating our 10th anniversary with over a million participants, more than 14,000 projects all around the country, major outdoor volunteering events, free lectures, and many different ways to do good! Read on to discover which Good Deeds Day projects you can sign up for, and stay tuned to find out what big Good Deeds Day events we’re planning!
Do you love working with your hands? Help paint and renovate homes of the elderly, mentally ill, disabled, and more who could use the help. This is a heartwarming way to participate in Good Deeds Day. You’ll see amazing results right away!
Fun activities with kids or the elderly
A classic smile-maker, activities such as playtime and storytime, music, and arts and crafts, for kids or the elderly are always needed! If you have a special skill such as clowning, playing an instrument, or dancing, we can connect you with a place that is in need of someone just like you! You can also join a group of instructors, or grab a few friends and help out.
Brighten up kindergartens, social clubhouses, and more by painting beautiful murals, and transform what used to be a regular wall into a colourful work of art!
Special deliveries or transportation
If you have a driving licence and you want to do good on the go, you can help out with driving food packs to those in need, toys to kindergartens, or drive elderly or disabled people to some of our big events!
Natural spaces like parks and beaches often get dirty and full of trash. Help make them beautiful, environmentally friendly, and harmless for animals again by joining locals in a group clean up!
Are you interested in taking part? Sign up here and one of our coordinators will get in touch with you. If you don’t speak Hebrew, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help you find your perfect Good Deeds Day activity in Israel.Back to blog
